I trained with paragon school of dog grooming and have worked in both mobile and store front grooming salons. I will be choosing to work from a fear free angle. I used to work in vet med as a tech and was trained in the fear free approach which I love.

I work 1:1 from my home air conditioned garage.

I use a lavender and chamomile essential oil diffuser and soothing music for the dogs. I allow as many breaks as needed for our anxious or physically limited pets. This does not increase my fee. I do have a 4 hour maximum time frame for full service grooms however, for booking purposes. So, occasionally I may need to delay your appointment if a needy dog is booked ahead of your arrival. I will inform you of this on the day. Of course, once I know a dog, I allow the amount of time required at booking so this is unusual to reoccur.

Getting to your appointment:

I offer transportation for your convenience, your pet can be crated or secured and buckled in with a harness for the journey, for a small fee if you’re local to Livermore. We can discuss transportation if you’re further away. If you have more than one dog and would like to have pets groomed concurrently, this can also be arranged.

Pricing:

I can give you a price once I know the weight and specific requirements for your pet, including breed, special limitation like physical deformities or allergy needs, including foods. If your pet needs special treats, please provide them at drop off.

A full service groom: $ 50 & up.

Including Bath, brush, quality shampoo & conditioner for your dogs needs, ear cleaning, sanitary trim, nail clipping and filing & hair cut.

A Bath and Brush: $45 & up

Add ons:

Tidy up — Add on to bath and brush: tidy (trim) feet, face, tail. + $12

External Anal gland expression + $10

Internal anal gland expression (with veterinarian permission) + $20

De-shed + $15 - $25. (Furminator, de-shedding shampoo and thorough de-shedding comb out/rake, removing dead coat on double coated dogs)

Proof of Vaccinations:

Due to my own pets in home, and for the safety of all clients, I ask that your pet is vaccinated for rabies, kennel cough, and parvovirus. If your pet currently has intestinal parasites, such as tapeworks, whipworms, hookworms, roundworms etc — PLEASE reschedule your grooming until your pet is parasite free.

Payments:

I prefer cash payments or an old school check, though I do have a personal Venmo, should you require digital payment.
